He aims to preserve and strengthen federal funding for our island, which makes up approximately 26.02% of the Government of Guam’s operating revenues. These more than 400 requests were made in response to the proposed budget cuts made by President Trump earlier this month.

After a thorough review, the legislation maintains Guam’s existing funding levels, protects eligibility for services, and confirms that migrants under the Compacts of Free Association (COFA) will continue receiving comprehensive health coverage.
