(Washington, D.C.)Congressman Moylan, together with Governor Leon Guerrero, has sent a joint letter to the Department of War (formerly the Department of Defense) urging the convening of an Economic Adjustment Committee (EAC) following the recently finalized Record of Decision for the Enhanced Integrated Air and Missile Defense (EIAMD) project on Guam. The EIAMD is a new missile defense system designed to protect Guam and the broader Indo-Pacific region against advanced threats.

The legislation secures $1.3 billion in direct investments and includes policy reforms that strengthen Guam’s infrastructure, workforce, and strategic defense posture.

As of today, all mail and packages from Guam and the CNMI (distributed through Guam) have successfully arrived in Honolulu, indicating that federal agencies are taking meaningful action.
