STATEMENT FROM CONGRESSMAN MOYLAN ON THE PASSING OF FORMER AGANA HEIGHTS MAYOR PAUL MCDONALD

(Hagåtña, Guam)— I join our entire island community in mourning the loss of former Mayor Paul McDonald and extend my heartfelt condolences to his wife Elaine, their children, grandchildren, and the entire McDonald family during this extremely difficult time.

As we remember his life and legacy, let us also celebrate the countless ways he gave back to Guam. Mayor McDonald was a true public servant—a man of integrity, compassion, and deep commitment to the people he served. His leadership left a lasting imprint on his village and on our island.

As we grieve his loss, we also honor a life of service and example. Guided by his love for family and community, Mayor McDonald devoted himself to the betterment of our island, and in doing so earned the lasting respect of all who knew him. His legacy of service and compassion will continue to guide and inspire long after today.
