MOYLAN TO HOST “BRIDGING D.C. & DISTRICT” OUTREACH EVENT TO CONNECT RESIDENTS WITH FEDERAL SERVICES

August 25, 2025

(Hagåtña, Guam)—Congressman Moylan is inviting the community to join him at Bridging D.C. & District—a community outreach event, taking place on Friday, August 29 and Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the former JP Superstore location in the Micronesia Mall.

This free, two-day event will serve as a one-stop resource center, bringing together federal partners who serve Guam every day under one roof. Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions, explore programs, and connect directly with agencies providing support in areas like veterans’ care, benefits, passports, workforce opportunities and immigration services. Congressman Moylan highlighted the importance of making these services more accessible. “This outreach is about convenience for our people. Instead of waiting on phone lines or struggling to navigate agencies from afar, families and veterans get help face-to-face in once centralized location,” said Congressman Moylan. “I want to thank all of our federal partners who are setting up to serve our island community, and I especially want to thank the Micronesia Mall for welcoming us and making this event possible.”

Veterans will be able to meet directly with representatives from the Guam Veterans Affairs Office, Guam Vet Center, the Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), and the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) to submit intake forms and get assistance with benefits. To help expedite services, veterans are encouraged to bring a copy of their DD214 or NGB-22 forms. The event will also feature the Guam Department of Labor, the Honolulu Passport Agency, and U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) to provide information and assistance on workforce programs, travel, and immigration needs.

Moylan emphasized that the outreach is part of his office’s ongoing effort to connect residents with resources where they are. “At the end of the day, this is about making sure federal services truly work for our people—that they know what’s available to them, that the process is clear, and that help is within reach. Whether it’s for families, veterans, or anyone seeking support, we want to make those connections easier and more effective.”

The public is encouraged to stop by, take advantage of the services being offered, and learn more about the resources available to the island. For more information, please contact Congressman Moylan’s District Office at (671) 922-6673.
